Job summary

Label Aid in Huron, Ohio, seeks an experienced Digital Printing Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the digital printing department. This hands-on role manages people, quality, and equipment, driving productivity, waste reduction, and process improvements on the production floor.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with toner-based or UV inkjet presses, strong color management skills, and a track record of improving manufacturing performance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with digital printing and finishing equipment.
• Experience with toner-based or UV inkjet platforms.
• Previous management or supervision experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of color management and print quality standards.
• Experience troubleshooting print defects and production issues.
• Familiarity with label materials and converting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operation of the digital printing department and production workflow.
• Coordinate training and development of operators on the floor.
• Monitor quality, productivity, and on-time delivery against targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with Prepress, Scheduling, Quality, Finishing, Shipping, and Customer Service.
• Maintain presses and finishing equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Foster ownership and continuous improvement across the team.
