Job summary

TekWissen Group is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer to build and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions onsite in San Jose, CA. This temporary assignment spans 6 months and focuses on automation across cloud and on-prem environments.

The role emphasizes Terraform, Ansible, and Python skills, with a strong emphasis on RHEL-based production systems and OpenShift/VM management. Onsite work and collaboration with development teams are required.

Qualifications

• Terraform hands-on development and deployment experience.
• Ansible depth in building roles and automation playbooks.
• RHEL Linux experience supporting production environments.
• Python scripting for automation.
• Experience in engineering-focused DevOps environments.
• Good UNIX basics for maintenance and support.
• Exposure to SUSE or AIX environments.

Responsibilities

• System Administration - day-to-day Linux server management and monitoring.
• Design, develop, and maintain Terraform modules and automation pipelines.
• Develop Ansible playbooks and deploy automation across environments.
• Manage, troubleshoot, and support OpenShift/VM environments.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and assist OS-level tasks.
• Documentation - maintain system documentation and standards.
