Job summary

Cinter Technology Services is seeking a Temporary DevOps/System Engineer to support Linux/Windows servers, virtualization, and storage systems onsite in San Jose, CA. The role covers automation, configuration, and security best practices for enterprise infrastructure.

Responsibilities include managing VMware, Jenkins, Git, Ansible, and data-center hardware, with after-hours support as needed. Requires 7+ years in Linux/DevOps disciplines and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Minimum 7+ years in Linux system administration/engineering.
Strong VMware administration and infrastructure management.
Experience managing Jenkins, Git, and DevOps tool environments.
Solid Linux skills: shell scripting, cron, logs, users, iptables, mail services.

Responsibilities

Engineer and support system administration solutions for project and operational needs.
Install, configure, rebuild, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.
Manage virtualization platforms including VMware, KVM, and related technologies.
Configure and maintain enterprise storage environments (NetApp, Dell/EMC, Pure Storage).
Support infrastructure automation tools including Ansible.
Manage Foreman deployment systems and GLPI inventory platforms.
