INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Data Center Technician for an onsite role at a Microsoft Data Center in Midvale, Utah. The technician will handle hardware installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within a data center environment, including rack and stack, cable management, and documentation.

Core duties include installing and decommissioning hardware, diagnosing issues, managing inventory, and documenting configurations.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining data center hardware.
• Ability to diagnose hardware issues and perform basic repairs.
• Familiarity with cabling, labeling, and rack configurations.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and decommission servers and network devices.
• Troubleshoot hardware and basic software issues.
• Rack and stack equipment, ensuring proper cabling and power connections.
• Manage cable infrastructure, labeling, and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain detailed procedures and troubleshooting notes.
• Oversee hardware inventory, ordering replacements, and returns.
