Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Analyst to support enterprise operations by analyzing data, validating findings, and delivering actionable insights. The role emphasizes data-driven problem solving, root cause analysis, and collaboration with business partners to translate questions into analytical solutions.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, data validation, and working with large datasets, with experience across BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or hybrid Data/BA experience.
• Advanced SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries from scratch.
• Experience with joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, stored procedures, and data validation.
• Strong hands-on data analysis experience involving large datasets.
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data quality issues.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and investigate data anomalies.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with at least one BI or analytics platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis and validation.
• Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Azure, or cloud data platform experience.
• Python experience for data analysis or automation.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Salesforce exposure.
• Financial services, healthcare, or higher education experience.
• Data warehouse experience.
• Experience supporting operational and production environments.
• Exposure to machine learning, AI, Copilot, or advanced analytics initiatives.
• Tableau or Power BI visualization experience
