The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL, data validation, and working with large datasets, with experience across BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.

Formación

• 3-7 years of Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or hybrid Data/BA experience.
• Advanced SQL experience with the ability to write complex queries from scratch.
• Experience with joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations, stored procedures, and data validation.
• Strong hands-on data analysis experience involving large datasets.
• Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data quality issues.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and investigate data anomalies.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Experience with at least one BI or analytics platform such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Experience using Excel for data analysis and validation.
• Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Azure, or cloud data platform experience.
• Python experience for data analysis or automation.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Salesforce exposure.
• Financial services, healthcare, or higher education experience.
• Data warehouse experience.
• Experience supporting operational and production environments.
• Exposure to machine learning, AI, Copilot, or advanced analytics initiatives.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst with strong Business Analysis skills to support ongoing operational initiatives within a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is highly focused on analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying trends, and partnering with business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on SQL experience, a passion for working with data, and the ability to translate business questions into data‑driven solutions. This individual will spend the majority of their time querying, validating, analyzing, and troubleshooting data while working closely with business partners to understand requirements and improve operational processes. This is not a reporting or dashboard‑focused role. Candidates should be comfortable working directly with large datasets, performing ad‑hoc analysis, identifying root causes, and communicating findings to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
