Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Cyber Security Manager to lead security architecture, engineering, and operations across on-prem, AWS, and Azure. The role is hands-on and team-leading, focusing on cloud and on-prem security, AI security, and DevSecOps practices.

The ideal candidate will bring 8+ years in cybersecurity, 5+ years in leadership, and deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, with strong scripting in Python/Go and cloud-native security experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years hands-on cybersecurity experience.
• 5+ years technical leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and engineering across on-prem, AWS, and Azure.
• Establish security standards for AI/ML and LLM technologies.
• Lead threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing cybersecurity team.
• Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and development teams to implement security best practices.
