Qualifications

• Hands-on cooking knowledge and passion for teaching.
• Experience with elementary-aged learners in school, camp, enrichment, childcare, or youth programs.
• Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt for different ages and abilities.
• Background check and safety compliance required.

Responsibilities

• Inspire young learners through hands-on culinary experiences.
• Create a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate learning environment while maintaining classroom structure and safety.
• Maintain knowledge of basic food safety, sanitation, and kitchen practices; Food Handler Card preferred.
• Comfortable managing groups of up to 20–25 students and providing positive behavior guidance.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate with team members.
• Follow lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet student needs.
