Job summary

Mawson Infrastructure Group is seeking a Site Engineer 1 to support operations at the Midland, PA data center site. You will perform electrical, mechanical, and technical tasks within modular data centers housing mining machines to optimize hash rate and uptime.

Role reports to the General Manager and involves hardware deployment, troubleshooting, asset management, and data collection for audits. Outdoor work and teamwork with leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation to the Midland, PA site.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
• Interest in cryptocurrency industry.
• Attention to detail and the ability to learn IP addressing and subnetting concepts.
• Ability to understand small electronics and low to medium voltage electronics.
• Strong verbal and written communication to interact with a wide range of people.
• Good problem-solving skills and independent troubleshooting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test hardware and software issues.
• Maintain budgeted hash rate and ensure efficient site operations.
• Perform daily data entry and organize files for auditing hardware and assets.
• Deploy crypto mining hardware and support facility audits with data collection.
• Receive and ship equipment as directed by leadership and communicate site issues promptly.
