Job summary

Mawson Infrastructure Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician 1 to maintain data center environments at the Luna Squares Mining Site. The role is based at our Midland, PA site.

You will perform a variety of general maintenance duties including electrical, mechanical, and construction work, reporting to the General Manager and contributing to maintenance metrics and adherence to preventative plans.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable transportation to site.
• Valid driver’s license to operate site vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
• Repairs faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
• Follow preventative maintenance procedures as directed.
• Complete scheduled repairs as directed.
• Conduct periodic quality checks on equipment and systems.
• Maintain maintenance inventory & par levels for equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Communicate site issues to leadership.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
• Maintain site groundskeeping as directed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by Leadership or as needed by business demand.

Mawson is looking for a Maintenance Technician 1 to maintain data center environments at the Luna Squares Cryptocurrency Mining Site.

The role will be based out of our Midland, PA site.

As a Maintenance Technician 1 you will be expected to perform a variety of general maintenance duties which include electrical, mechanical, and construction work in the maintenance and repair of Luna Squares facilities and equipment. This role will report to the General Manager and be held responsible for various metrics such as timely completion of assigned tasks and adherence to preventative maintenance plans.

What will you own?

• Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify issues.
• Repairs faulty equipment units and damaged structures.
• Follows preventative maintenance procedures as directed.
• Completes schedule repairs as directed.
• Conducts periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure functionality is up to standard operating procedure.
• Maintains maintenance inventory & par levels for equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Effectively communicates any site issues to leadership.
• Maintains a safe working environment.
• Maintains site groundskeeping as directed.
• Additional duties as assigned by Leadership or as needed by business demand.

What will you bring?

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have consistent and reliable transportation to site.
• Interested in Cryptocurrency and becoming involved in the industry.
• Valid driver’s license to operate site vehicles.
• General understanding of maintenance procedures and techniques.
• Ability to learn quickly on the job through mentoring and action.

• Willingness to work outdoors in various environment conditions.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to sit. Frequently must squat, stoop, or kneel, reach above the head, and reach forward. Daily uses hand strength to grasp tools, supplies and equipment. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
