Job summary

Hut 8 is hiring a Data Center Technician I to support uptime for next-generation computing workloads at our Pecos, TX locations. You will work with state-of-the-art computing and networking gear, performing routine maintenance and basic repairs under supervision to ensure machines stay online and operate efficiently.

The role emphasizes learning our site infrastructure, diagnosing miners, and performing basic firmware updates while adhering to safety and operational standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3+ years’ experience in IT/computer hardware and/or troubleshooting mining operations.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• General facility duties as assigned.
• Basic miner diagnostics and repair.
• Introductory mechanical skills and basic data analysis.
• Basic flashing firmware skills.
• Ability to complete projects at discretion of supervisor/operations manager.
• And other duties as assigned.
