Job summary

Mello in Austin is seeking a hands-on Creative Content Manager to own how we show up online; you’ll shoot, design, write, and plan content. This role combines strategy with execution, working across social, email, and product storytelling.

Based on-site at our South Austin factory, you’ll build a cohesive brand presence, manage content calendars with the Marketing Lead, and elevate our apparel and merchandise storytelling through photography, design, and copy.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in social media, content, or brand marketing.
• A strong portfolio that shows graphic design, photography, and social content.
• Real photography skills: lighting, composition, product and environment shots, and editing in Lightroom/Photoshop.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar tools.
• Clear writing, and comfort turning a project into a story.
• You’re based in Austin and like being where the work happens.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce social content, primarily Instagram: behind-the-scenes, client work, product, trends, and education.
• Collaborate with our Marketing Lead to set social strategy and a content calendar tied to real business goals.
• Photograph products, production, and client projects in our Austin factory and showroom, then edit the images.
• Design social graphics and campaign assets in Mello's brand system.
• Design and build email campaigns and templates (we use Flodesk).
• Write and design case studies that show our work and results.
• Work closely with our design, sales, and leadership teams to keep content on-brand and useful.
