Job summary

United Pharma is seeking a Controls Engineer to join a growing automation team and support manufacturing projects across multiple facilities. The role involves hands‑on design, troubleshooting, commissioning, and plant support, closely working with senior controls engineers.

Responsibilities include developing, troubleshooting, and commissioning PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems, building Ignition SCADA apps, and collaborating with Operations and Engineering on projects.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of industrial automation or controls engineering experience.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and Rockwell/Allen‑Bradley systems.
• Familiarity with Ignition SCADA in manufacturing environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
• Motivated to learn new automation technologies and increase project responsibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop, troubleshoot, and commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems.
• Build and support Ignition SCADA applications, controls, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement process improvements.
• Partner with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering teams on controls projects.
• Support automation projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
