Job summary

FOOKE USA, Inc. is seeking an experienced, hands-on Accountant/Controller to oversee the full accounting cycle, including payroll, AP, AR, and monthly financial reporting. You will own the books, build the finance function, and provide timely information to management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
5+ years of hands-on accounting including month-end close.
Solid US GAAP knowledge and advanced Excel.
Multi-state sales and use tax experience (incl. CA).
Understanding of project-based revenue recognition.

Responsibilities

Maintain the general ledger and record day-to-day accounting transactions.
Process vendor invoices, manage accounts payable, and prepare payments.
Prepare and issue customer invoices, record customer payments, and monitor receivables.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other balance sheet accounts.
Month-end and year-end close, with draft financials for CFO review.
Maintain project-related accounting records and assist with revenue recognition.
Prepare supporting schedules for annual financial statement review.
