Job summary

Kent Companies is seeking a laborer to perform physical labor across building, residential, and heavy construction projects. You will operate hand and power tools, coordinate with the foreman, and help prepare sites and materials daily.

The role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screening. This position offers competitive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding labor on construction sites.
• Reliable transportation to job locations and ability to travel as needed.
• Willingness to comply with PPE and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Wear PPE (hard hat, high-visibility clothing) and follow safety protocols.
• Perform general labor tasks with hand/power tools on commercial sites.
• Install and maintain fall protection and barricades.
• Locate materials and equipment to meet production goals.
• Work on uneven surfaces, climb ladders and scaffolds as required.
• Maintain equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Lift and move 80 lb bags into a hopper.
• Assist with sound mat installation and cementitious material placement.
