Job summary

The Culper Group, a 100% employee-owned construction materials company in New Hampshire, is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead financial strategy, reporting, cash flow, and ESOP governance. The CFO will supervise monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes, budgeting, forecasting, and project profitability to align financial performance with ownership objectives.

• Hands-on construction accounting and job-cost experience required.
• Must understand ESOPs and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Strong ability to communicate financial information to leadership and employee-owners.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, cash-flow projections, and management reports.
• Coordinate the independent CPA firm's review of the financial statements.
• Oversee job-cost accounting, WIP schedules, percentage-of-completion, retainage, and change orders.
• Provide timely financial information to ESOP trustee and leadership.
