Job summary

GAC Enterprises, LLC is seeking a dependable Construction CDL Driver to support field operations. The role involves transporting construction equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials between yards and active job sites, with hands-on loading/unloading and equipment handling responsibilities.

You will perform inspections, ensure loads are secured, and comply with DOT/FMCSA and local regulations while working outdoors in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• CDL required with a valid state license.
• Clean driving record and ability to meet insurance requirements.
• Experience transporting construction equipment preferred.
• Experience operating trucks/trailers in construction settings.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and vehicle inspections.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport construction equipment between yards and job sites.
• Load, unload, and properly position equipment on trucks and trailers.
• Secure equipment and materials using chains, binders, straps, and other approved methods.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers.
• Identify and report safety concerns, mechanical issues, or maintenance needs.
• Maintain clean, organized, and ready-to-use vehicles and equipment.
• Follow company safety policies and site requirements.
• Coordinate equipment moves with field management and logistics.
