Job summary

Gibraltar Fabrication, LLC seeks a dependable CDL Class A driver to haul materials and equipment to active construction sites. You will operate a flatbed tractor-trailer, securely load and tarp cargo, and perform pre-trip inspections in compliance with DOT/FMCSA standards.

Ideal candidates have a clean driving record, current DOT medical card, and at least 2 years of flatbed experience. You will log deliveries, coordinate with project teams, and maintain professional conduct on-site.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
• Current DOT medical certification.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and DOT testing.
• Minimum 2 years of flatbed driving experience.
• Experience delivering to active construction sites.
• TWIC card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to transport materials to and from job sites.
• Safely load, secure, tarp, and unload cargo per DOT regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections per FMCSA requirements.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Navigate active construction sites safely and follow site traffic control procedures.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with project management and site personnel.
• Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
• Support yard or site logistics operations as needed between deliveries.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a flatbed tractor-trailer to transport materials, structural components, and equipment to and from job sites.
• Safely load, secure, tarp, and unload cargo in compliance with DOT cargo securement regulations (49 CFR Part 393).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with FMCSA requirements.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
• Navigate active construction sites safely and follow site traffic control procedures.
• Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety standards.
