Job summary

The Boeing Company in Mesa, AZ is seeking a 2nd shift Composites M&P Engineer for our Composite Materials Fabrication Site. The role is a contract assignment, onsite only, with clearance requirements and cross-functional collaboration across lab, office, and production floors.

You will apply chemistry and materials science to qualify composites, support fabrication, and drive manufacturing improvements while growing into technical leadership opportunities.

Qualifications

• BS in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science; or MS in a related field.
• Willingness to work 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Apply chemistry, physics, and material science to develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods.
• Provide technical evaluation and material & process support to composite part fabrication.
• Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions for material and process issues.
• Create and execute test plans and input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement.
