Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking an Associate Composites Engineer (Level 2) to join the M&P Engineering Support Team onsite. First shift, 1st shift, and up to 20-25% travel may be required.

Responsibilities include engineering design review support, material/part qualification, and production system backing, with emphasis on safety and First Pass Quality. Relocation may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
• 2+ years of experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience working with composites and/or composite manufacturing.
• Preferred: aerospace composites technology and supplier qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist with engineering design review.
• Support material and part qualification internal to Boeing and at suppliers.
• Provide engineering support to the production system.
• Foster safety and First Pass Quality mindset.
• Influence others to exhibit Boeing values and behaviors.
