Job summary

Securitas Technology Corporation, a world- leading security solutions provider, is seeking a hands-on Commissioning Engineer in Fishers, IN to lead installation and startup of electrical control and automation systems for security projects. You will coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include verifying designs, managing multiple projects, providing training, and producing O&M documents.

Qualifications

• Non-degree with 4-6 years of commissioning experience in control systems
• Skills or experience with personal computers, including electronic E-mail, personal scheduling, word processing and electronic spreadsheet
• Knowledge of networks and networking
• Knowledge of current and past Windows OS
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Windows Office Suites
• Knowledge of PC configuration and peripherals
• Ability to be creative and resourceful in obtaining solutions to uncommon applications
• A valid state driver’s license is required
• Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple priorities
• Strong customer service orientation

Responsibilities

• Ability to complete a startup without additional assistance
• Take ownership of assigned projects
• Verify quality of designs and software
• Coordinate project activities with appropriate parties internally and externally
• Direct customer, subcontractor, internal resource communications
• Perform training as required on implemented control systems
• Create O&M documents upon completion of a project
• Maintain budgets and ensure policies and standards are followed
• Perform other duties as assigned
