Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Field Service Technician for Coffee & Vending Equipment in Dallas, TX. You will repair, recondition, and install equipment at customer sites, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and plumbing issues and taking corrective action.

You will visit customer locations, perform preventive maintenance, handle parts and documentation, and maintain safety standards while delivering excellent service and customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid understanding in repairing small electrical appliances.
• Must be willing to learn how to connect equipment to water sources, add lines and drainage when vital.
• Must be willing to learn how to work with copper, braided and pex lines; typically developed through six months to one year of experience in equipment service operations or vocational training.
• The ability to read and write in English is required.
• Must also possess effective communication and customer service skills.
• Incumbent must have an acceptable driving record and a qualified driver’s license.
• This role may have physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Calls on customers as assigned by Service Manager or General Manager to investigate operating difficulties of equipment.
• Diagnoses problems and determines correction actions.
• Repairs or adjusts equipment to restore operation.
• Cleans and maintains equipment on location, exchanging decanters and cleaning brewers.
• Documents closing calls, invoices, and asset verification as required.
• Repairs and refurbishes equipment; maintains spare parts levels.
• Accurately records completed work using company mobile device.
• Maintains positive relations with customers to uphold Aramark image.
• Performs scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service and installations.
• Keeps service area and vehicle clean and organized; follows safety guidelines.
