Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Industrial Commercial Energy group in our Grand Rapids office. The intern will support senior engineers, assist with data analysis, and help develop spreadsheet tools while gaining exposure to civil/environmental engineering projects.

Candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a valid driver’s license and basic familiarity with Microsoft Office; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Analyze rainfall and flow data.
• Assist with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers as directed.
• Support Planning, Design, Hydraulic and Hydrology departments.
