Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Industrial Commercial Energy group in our Taylor office. You will work under senior engineers on civil/environmental engineering tasks and gain hands-on experience with project tools and data analysis.

The role requires pursuing a Civil or Environmental Engineering degree, a valid driver’s license, and familiarity with Office software; GIS/CAD tools are a plus.

Qualifications

Candidate must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (junior or senior preferred).
Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred.
Must have valid driver’s license and strong communication/organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
Perform data analysis of rainfall data and flow data.
Copy and scan project drawings.
Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers and take direction.
