Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking an Engineering Summer Intern for our Community Design group in Detroit. Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering (junior or senior preferred) and possess a valid driver’s license.

Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required and knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or Revit is preferred. Candidates must be self-motivated, very organized and have excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of GIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation or Revit is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine calculations under a senior engineer.
• Obtain drawings from local municipalities.
• Perform data analysis of rainfall data and continuous flow.
• Assist engineer with development of spreadsheet tools.
• Coordinate with project managers and engineers and take direction as needed.
