Job summary

LJA Land Development in Maitland, FL offers a Summer Internship Program for Civil Engineering interns. The internship runs mid-May through the first week of August, in-person, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, with mentorship from experienced professionals.

You will gain hands-on experience on real projects, shadow operations, and learn the project lifecycle while developing technical and professional skills for a successful career in civil engineering.

Qualifications

• Completed at least one year of college and pursuing a BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are important.
• Proficiency with MS Excel is needed.
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering assignments under direction from experienced engineers.
• Shadow operations and learn about project phases.
• Support larger projects with day-to-day tasks.
