Job summary

Cindavi is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer to lead hands-on improvements on-site at our Belle, WV plant. You will own process and batch tracking, troubleshoot live issues with operations, and drive safe, reliable, and efficient production through data-driven changes.

With 3+ years in process engineering, you’ll partner across safety, maintenance, controls, and leadership to scale up processes, develop procedures, and support product introductions while maintaining a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of process engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with batch/continuous processing and process troubleshooting.
• Exposure to PSM, PHAs, or safety-critical operating practices.
• Ability to translate complex issues into actionable plans and procedures.
• Ownership mindset to prioritize plant needs and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Own process and batch tracking; investigate anomalies; drive safety, quality, yield, and throughput improvements.
• Partner with plant operators to troubleshoot live issues and ensure procedures work on the floor.
• Support scale-up, new-product introduction, plant tests, and transfer of processes into operations.
• Develop and improve batch sheets, operating procedures, specifications, PFDs, P&IDs, and mass/energy balances.
• Participate in PSM activities, PHAs, pre-startup readiness, and safety-critical process support.
• Collaborate on controls, instrumentation, capital projects, vendor coordination, and training.
