Based in South Royalton, this onsite position reports to the Board and supports grants, audits, and infrastructure funding. You will drive financial planning, reporting, and process improvements while mentoring

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business with a concentration/minor in Accounting.
• 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience.
• Experience in telecommunications, broadband, utilities, infrastructure, technology, or similarly complex environments.
• Demonstrated success in startup, nonprofit, cooperative, or mission-driven organizations.
• Strong accounting, financial planning, budgeting, and analytical skills.
• Experience building systems, processes, and teams in growing organizations.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on detail execution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, accounting, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with partners, vendors, and internal staff on financial operations.
• Monitor cash flow, reserves, debt, and capital spending.
• Develop financial models to support growth and sustainability.
• Present reports and recommendations to the Board and C-suite.
