Aerotek is seeking a skilled Carpenter / Building Maintenance Technician to support maintenance, repair, and light construction across commercial and industrial facilities. The role blends carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general building upkeep with troubleshooting and strong customer service to keep sites safe, functional, and well‑maintained.

This contract‑to‑hire onsite position is based in Timnath, CO, pays $24.00–$28.00 per hour, and offers exposure to diverse projects and multiple

Competenze

• Previous experience in carpentry, maintenance, facilities, construction, or skilled trades environments.
• Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and general building maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.

Mansioni

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify and address facility issues.
• Troubleshoot building and infrastructure problems and implement effective repair solutions.
• Maintain equipment, fixtures, and facility systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete light construction and renovation projects.
• Install and repair doors, cabinetry, flooring, fixtures, trim, and other building components.
• Assist with facility upgrades, remodels, and improvement projects.
• Read and interpret work orders, project specifications, and blueprints.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable building codes and safety standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, property managers, vendors, and team members.
• Provide recommendations regarding repairs, preventative maintenance, and facility improvements.
• Maintain a professional attitude and deliver exceptional customer service throughout all phases of work.
• Accurately document completed work and communicate project updates.
