Job summary

Castelion in Torrance, CA is seeking an Avionics Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a team of technicians and own daily production across PCBA rework, wire harness manufacturing, and electro-mechanical assembly. The role combines hands-on hardware work with strong people leadership to scale production and resolve complex manufacturing challenges.

You will coordinate with engineering, quality, planning, and supply chain to maintain schedules, improve first-pass yield, and ensure accurate records

Qualifications

• 5+ years of avionics, electronics, electrical manufacturing, or related production experience.
• Experience leading technicians and managing daily production execution.
• Hands-on with avionics hardware, repair, and test.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Avionics Manufacturing Technicians.
• Organize work orders and balance workload on the floor.
• Resolve production issues with cross-functional teams.
• Perform hands-on support for complex builds and tests.
• Monitor safety and productivity on the production floor.
• Help transition development hardware into repeatable production.
