Job summary

Castelion is seeking an Avionics PCBA Technician to support development and production of long-range hypersonic systems in Torrance, CA. This full-time, non-exempt role focuses on hands-on assembly, rework, testing, and hardware integration in a fast-paced environment.

You will read schematics, build PCBA assemblies, wire harnesses, and testing equipment while maintaining ESD-controlled processes and documentation adherence. Some travel may be required as projects progress.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in avionics tech, electronics manufacturing, or related hands-on assembly.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring harness drawings.
• Experience performing soldering and PCBA rework.
• Experience with IPC-610/IPC-620 standards.
• Familiarity with avionics/electrical assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform PCBA soldering and rework, including jumpers and component replacement.
• Build wire harnesses, cable assemblies, PCBAs, electro-mechanical units, test equipment.
• Assemble, integrate, and test avionics hardware and support equipment.
• Support manufacturing processes, documentation, and continuous improvement.
