Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is hiring an Automotive Technician in Odenton to join our Bridgestone Retail Operations team.

You will learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision, performing oil changes, inspections, tire services, and component replacements. The role offers a flat-rate pay structure in the Odenton area, with benefits starting on day one and opportunities to pursue ASE certifications, paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn basic mechanical tasks and perform oil changes, basic inspections, and basic tire repair.
• Valid automobile driver’s license required at all times and the ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
• A.S.E certification or equivalent training is preferred or obtainable within two years.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance.
• Install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years; company covers tests/fees.
