Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our service team in Odenton, MD. The role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance from senior technicians, with hands-on learning in routine inspections and repairs.

You will interact with customers to explain procedures and ensure high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced setting. Competitive pay includes a flat-rate component and potential ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
• Must have valid automobile driver's license.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair knowledge (oil changes, inspections, tire repair).
• Reading, writing, and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and perform scheduled maintenance.
• Inspect steering, suspension, and brake systems.
• Install batteries and check electrical systems.
• Perform tire maintenance and install parts.
• Road test vehicles.
• Pursue ASE certifications within two years (company pays tests/fees).
