Job summary

Mishimoto is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician to support product development, building prototypes, testing, and collaborating with engineers and the product team. This hands-on role involves fabricating, testing, and real-vehicle work across the product lifecycle.

You will perform data collection, analysis, and create install guides, while contributing to shop safety and ongoing process improvements. The ideal candidate enjoys mechanical work and performance vehicles.

Qualifications

• S. in Engineering Technology or related degree or equivalent is preferred.
• 2–5 years in executing experiments and building prototypes, with/without drawings.

Responsibilities

• Build physical prototypes for product engineers.
• Conduct experiments involving pressure, force, airflow, heat transfer, lifecycle, and destructive testing.
• Document results and present data to engineers.
• Inspect, package, and manufacture select products.
• Create written install guides for new and existing products.
• Remove and replace (R&R) parts on vehicles for engineers.
• 3D scan vehicle parts for space claim.
• Maintain all equipment and shop safety.
