Job summary

Mishimoto is seeking a full-time Engineering Technician to support product development, working directly with engineers and the product team. You will build prototypes, test, work on vehicles, and resolve technical challenges throughout the product lifecycle.

This hands-on role involves fabrication, testing, and real‑world vehicle work, including data collection and install guide creation. A mechanical bias and enthusiasm for performance vehicles are essential.

Qualifications

S. in Engineering Technology or related degree. A H.S. diploma with 5+ years’ experience may substitute for a degree.
Two to five years’ experience executing experiments and building prototypes, with or without drawings from engineers.

Responsibilities

Build physical prototypes for the product engineers.
Conduct experiments involving pressure, force, airflow, heat transfer, lifecycle, and destructive testing.
Document results and present data to engineers clearly.
Inspect, package, and manufacture select products.
Create written install guides for new and existing products.
R&R parts on vehicles for product engineers.
3D scan vehicle parts for space claim.
Maintain equipment and shop safety.
