Job summary

Superior Environmental Solutions is seeking a dependable Disassembly Technician in Sidney, OH. This full-time, hands-on production role uses hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment to dismantle automotive components, identifying reusable and scrap materials while meeting daily production and quality targets.

The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing or industrial settings, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team while following

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive or industrial environments preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble automotive components according to established procedures and production requirements.
• Use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, impact wrenches, pullers, and other shop equipment to complete teardown.
• Separate and organize reusable, damaged, and scrap components according to established procedures.
• Label, organize, and stage automotive components for further processing.
• Drain fluids and properly handle used automotive fluids, lubricants, and other materials generated during the teardown process.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including tools and work areas.
• Follow established work instructions to ensure automotive components are completely and accurately disassembled.
• Meet daily production KPIs and quality expectations while maintaining attention to detail.
• Operate lifting devices, hoists, carts, or other material-handling equipment when moving automotive components and other heavy parts.
• Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and report damaged or malfunctioning equipment.
• Properly identify and report damaged or unusual components discovered during the teardown process.
• Work collaboratively with other production areas to support an efficient workflow.
• Use of forklift as needed
• Perform other production or shop duties as assigned.
