Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is hiring an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles. You will gain hands‑on experience, work with oil changes, inspections, electrical systems, brakes, steering and AC, and may assist with upfits and parts procurement.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience
• Ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles
• Valid driver’s license required
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Current ASE certifications (G1, A4, A5) when required by leadership

Responsibilities

• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices
• Perform oil/filters changes, fuel filter changes and inspections
• Test/maintain/repair electrical starting and charging systems
• Carry out tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior repairs
• Diagnose and repair brakes, steering and suspension
• Evacuate and recharge AC systems
• Maintain equipment and comply with recyclables handling
• Work with approved vendors for parts
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment
• Comply with procedures and regulations regarding wastes
