Job summary

Manheim, a Cox Automotive company, is seeking an Auto Maintenance Tech I to perform repairs and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles. The role offers a sign-on bonus, competitive pay, and a path for growth through Cox Auto University training.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform maintenance duties: oil/filter changes, fuel filter changes, transmission flush, spark plugs, inspections.
• Test/maintain batteries; diagnose and repair starting/charging systems.
• Perform tire work, safety inspections, and interior/exterior component repairs.
• Diagnose and repair brakes, steering and suspension.
• Evacuate and recharge AC system.
• Maintain equipment and perform parts procurement via approved vendors.
• May up-fit new vehicles with necessary equipment.
• Follow procedures on recyclables, fluids, tires, and waste.
