Job summary

UHY is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in audit and assurance. You will work with experienced professionals on real‑world engagements and contribute to the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting for a diverse client base.

Responsibilities include data entry, documentation, substantive testing, preparing workpapers and reports, using audit software, and learning audit concepts. This is a temporary internship of less than six months.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Currently enrolled in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data entry, documentation preparation, and basic analysis of financial information.
• Assist in audit procedures including substantive and control testing.
• Prepare workpapers and audit reports.
• Learn audit concepts and software tools during training sessions.
