Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support building development, construction, tenant buildouts, site work and ongoing property maintenance for a portfolio of commercial and residential properties. The role requires independent work, coordination with a Maintenance Supervisor and contractors, and willingness to travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Prior construction, building maintenance, or project management experience.
• Working knowledge of HVAC and building systems.
• Hands-on construction experience preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Dependable, organized and able to work independently.
• Good communication and follow-through; valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with commercial and residential construction and development projects.
• Coordinate tenant buildouts, renovations and site work.
• Respond to building issues involving HVAC, power outages, drainage, plumbing and general maintenance.
• Assist with construction labor and hands-on building maintenance.
• Monitor projects and provide updates to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Work independently and identify issues requiring attention.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors and trades as needed.
• Service three large mixed-use properties in Rochester and a multi-family property in Farmington, with occasional work at an industrial property in Syracuse.
• Be available for occasional weekend or after-hours issues.
