Job summary

Newbold Services, LLC is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to help oversee the janitorial operations for our facilities. You will lead a team, ensure safety compliance, and participate in recruitment, training and deployment of staff.

Qualifications

• 1+ year proven leadership/supervisory success.
• Experience as an assistant manager in janitorial or housekeeping is highly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Previous experience with electronic timekeeping.
• Ability to communicate with all levels.
• Exceptional decision making, problem solving and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and deploying a capable work force
• Assist with labor, supply and equipment budget targets
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address any deficiencies immediately
• Be able to adjust to changing customer’s needs
• Must be willing to be hands on in all areas of the contract.
• Physically able to life/carry/life weight
• Walk/Stand for extended periods of time, reach over shoulders and wear steel-toed shoes
