Job summary

Newbold Services, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee janitorial operations across our facilities in the United States. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, safety program implementation, and staff development within a dynamic service contract.

We value teamwork, reliability, and proactive problem solving. The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong MS Office skills, and a willingness to work in all areas of the contract.

Qualifications

• 1+ year proven leadership/supervisory success.
• Previous experience as an assistant manager in a janitorial or housekeeping services role is highly desired but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel.
• Previous experience with electronic timekeeping.
• The ability to perform at the highest level with minimum supervision.
• Ability to communicate with all levels.
• Exceptional decision making, problem solving and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety program implementation and compliance.
• Complete all online management and leadership training and development.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training and deploying a capable work force.
• Assist with labor, supply and equipment budget targets.
• Conduct periodic quality audits within the facility and address any deficiencies immediately.
• Be able to adjust to changing customer’s needs.
• Must be willing to be hands on in all areas of the contract.
• Physically able to lift/carry/lift weight.
• Walk/Stand for extended periods of time, reach over shoulders and wear steel-toed shoes.
