Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking an experienced assembler/test technician in Hauppauge, NY to accurately assemble and test products with attention to quality and on-time delivery. You will work with mechanical and electrical components, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and use test equipment and data acquisition tools.

The role requires applying lean techniques, interpreting blueprints, and coordinating with manufacturing teams to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Five or more years direct industry related experience in assembly/test in a high-technology manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrate understanding of semi-complex products involving electronics, dual systems, and multiple part families.
• Demonstrate product and process knowledge by applying it to newly learned techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assemble/test a variety of moderate to semi-complex products to meet quality and scheduling.
• Set up test equipment and measure conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and rework malfunctions disclosed by test data.
• Interpret blueprints, orders, and test specifications and ensure adherence to safety.
