Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY is seeking an assembler to complete the complete assembly, installation and testing of hoists and subassemblies per blueprints. You will work across electric, manual, and paint classifications, rotating through areas as needed.

Responsibilities include aligning components, installing moving parts, testing operation, and using overhead cranes. The role requires reading instructions, good measurement skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 10 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components following blueprints and specifications.
• Align and fasten parts with screws, bolts, or rivets.
• Test equipment and subassemblies for proper operation and clearance.
• Operate cranes and equipment to move parts to work areas.
• Rotate through assembly classifications as needed.
• Prepare and package finished hoist assemblies for testing and shipping.
