Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Forward Engineer – AI, Cloud & Orchestration to design, build, and deploy AI-driven solutions for enterprise clients in a consulting setting. This role blends hands‑on engineering with direct client engagement, requiring strong AI, cloud, and integration skills.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in Generative AI, Python development, and end‑to‑end solution delivery, with a focus on AI governance, observability, and scalable architectures. On‑site in Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, DevOps, SRE, automation, or related disciplines.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure and cloud architecture.
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered applications.
• Experience building or integrating AI agents, agentic workflows, or intelligent automation.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑grade AI applications and automated workflows.
• Build solutions using LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, and Microsoft Azure AI.
• Develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and enterprise knowledge architectures.
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing enterprise applications, business processes, and operational environments.
• Rapidly transform business requirements into prototypes, MVPs, and production‑ready solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and identify practical applications that deliver measurable business value.
