Job summary

PCC Structurals - Carson City is seeking an entry-level Foundry Operator to support precision casting production in aerospace and industrial applications. You will prep molds, operate foundry equipment, and help keep production moving safely and efficiently.

No prior foundry experience required; you’ll learn specialized manufacturing processes and work in a hands-on environment with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and entry-level role.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment and processes.
• Dependable, attentive and safety-conscious with willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Preheat ovens and load molds according to the casting schedule.
• Verify mold IDs, oven temps, oxygen levels and loading positions.
• Operate vacuum casting furnaces and other foundry equipment safely.
• Prepare materials and supplies for daily production.
• Load ovens, stage carts, and keep tools organized.
• Complete daily supply sheets and document downtime.
• Support preventive maintenance and basic equipment care.
• Clean foundry and investment areas and assist with changes.
