Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) Structurals Carson City is seeking a Product Engineer to drive development, introduction, and ongoing technical support of aerospace investment castings.

You will translate customer drawings and requirements into robust manufacturing processes and lead cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and quality throughout the product lifecycle. The role partners with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Engineering, Tooling, and other groups to advance new products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in listed engineering disciplines.
• Experience in product/manufacturing/process engineering preferred.
• Experience with investment casting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities for development and introduction of new investment cast products.
• Review drawings, specifications, models, and purchase order requirements to establish manufacturing needs.
• Develop manufacturing plans and engineering requirements for new products.
• Coordinate development, qualification, and production release activities.
• Provide ongoing engineering support for production products and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
