Job summary

Robert Bosch Group in the United States is seeking an experienced ADAS Calibration Engineer to drive radar and camera integration across vehicle platforms. You will collaborate with software developers, calibration engineers, and project managers to deliver customer-specific ADAS solutions.

The role requires hands-on testing on public roads and tracks, in-vehicle calibration, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3+ years of experience in systems or requirements engineering and release processes within automotive applications.
• 3+ years of experience using calibration tools for embedded software/controls.
• Knowledge of driver assistance sensors and functions, with strong interest in emerging ADAS technologies.
• Hands‑on experience using Vector CANape for embedded system calibration.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages a plus).
• Willingness to travel 4–6 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle testing, system integration, application, validation, and requirements engineering for radar and camera-based ADAS functions.
• Lead radar and camera integration activities; debug using CANoe, CANalyzer, CANape, and MATLAB.
• Conduct bench and vehicle testing on public roads and test tracks.
• Calibrate radar and camera sensor algorithms in-vehicle and in simulation environments.
• Support feature development with emphasis on integration and system-level behavior.
• Participate in feature reviews focusing on system performance and interface alignment.
• Recommend software or logic enhancements for issues not solvable by parameter tuning.
• Ensure development, validation and delivery follow internal processes.
