Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a nationally accredited college or university pursuing a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Must have successfully completed at least one Intermediate Accounting course.
• Junior standing or higher.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new systems and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a variety of accounting and financial reporting activities, including daily and weekly reporting.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and journal entry preparation.
• Process journal entries and ensure accurate posting to ledgers.
• Analyze financial data and prepare ad hoc reports.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to support business and financial initiatives.
• Identify trends, discrepancies, or opportunities for process improvement.
• Participate in special projects across accounting and finance.
