We are looking for a motivated Production Operator to join our team. Responsibilities include the operation, adjustment, and troubleshooting of equipment in receiving, production, packaging, and distribution areas of the factory. This involves monitoring processes, coordinating production operations, and managing the movement of materials and products throughout the facility. The role involves working with computers, standing, bending, and lifting frequently.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • $1.80/hr for night shift
  • 2/2/3 rotating schedule
  • Shifts: 6am-6pm / 6pm-6am
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH:
  • Operate, clean, and inspect equipment.
  • Complete effective and efficient changeovers.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and adhere to quality standards outlined in HACCP, QMS, and other SOPs.
  • Pull product samples and perform quality inspections on products and packaging.
  • Sanitize equipment and areas, including disassembly and assembly.
  • Take action on quality defects and ensure proper follow-up.
  • Identify root causes of downtime and record it accurately in systems like SAM.
  • Collaborate to improve operations, safety, quality, cost, and service.
  • Work safely and report unsafe situations.
  • Support a positive Nestlé culture and follow company values.
  • Support facility goals through teamwork and communication.
  • Be proactive in equipment and operational responsibilities.
  • Work in a team environment with honesty, engagement, and accountability.
  • Maintain attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
  • Work off-shifts, weekends, and extended hours (10-12 hrs).
  • Operate computers and systems to record and find information.
  • Manage conflicts positively.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Engage in personal development and continuous improvement.
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • May require internal/external certifications.
  • Stack/unstack products, lifting up to 50 lbs.
Skills:
  • Maintain FIFO practices.
  • Participate in planning and debriefs.
  • Sample ingredients and unload tank trucks.
  • Clean and store equipment used in unloading.
  • Record loads accurately in SAP system.
  • Keep work areas clean.
  • Perform quality inspections and sanitation.
  • Follow safety procedures and conduct safety inspections.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Operate RF terminals and barcode scanners.
  • Understand and apply the company's Hold Program.
Requirements:
  • High school Diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of work experience or post-secondary education.
  • 3 months of beverage manufacturing or Nestlé experience preferred.
